The Australian Silver Kookaburra coin is the most prominent silver coin available from the Perth Mint. Introduced in 1990, the Silver Kookaburra was available only as a 1 oz silver coin in 1990 and 1991. Starting in 1992, the Perth Mint introduced additional weights in the popular program. Included among them is the 10 oz Silver Kookaburra.
